I was gifted a portrait session with artwork. What do I need to do next?

Congratulations on being selected a complimentary portrait experience with artwork! To claim your session and artwork, please book your session via the link provided in your initial notice. You have 5 days from your initial notice to select a session date, but dates can be scheduled up to 30-45 days in advance.

When will we be able to view the portraits?

Accepted Answer

You will be able to view your portraits about 1-3 weeks after your session. This gives us the time to edit them before revealing them to you.

How long is the portrait session?

Our portrait sessions typically last around 45 minutes.

Where is the studio located?

What do I wear?

Accepted Answer

We suggest wearing classical, formal attire, such as dresses or suits, but if you do not own or have access to formal attire, we can also permit less formal attire, as long as it is classical. For example, blazers with blue jeans are permitted. Please let us know if you have any concerns or preferences.

I don't own or typically wear formal attire. How can I comply with the wardrobe requirements?

We suggest renting formal attire locally, but if this is not an option, we can permit less formal attire as long as it is classical. Please let us know if you have any concerns or preferences, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can my immediate family members participate in the photoshoot?

Yes, immediate family members are welcome to participate in the portrait session.

Question 8

Why do you charge a refundable retainer?

Accepted Answer

We charge a refundable retainer to ensure that you remain committed to coming for your portrait and reveal sessions, just as we are committed to providing you with high-quality portraits. Also, because your session time is typically reserved for paying clients, we ask for the retainer to secure your spot. As long as you attend your session and subsequent reveal session as scheduled, this fee will be fully refunded to you.

When is the retainer refunded?

The retainer is refunded (minus the shipping fee) within five business days after the reveal session.

Question 10

What if I need to reschedule?

Accepted Answer

One reschedule may be permitted, but any refundable retainer paid will become non-refundable. However, the retainer can still be applied as a credit if you choose to order more portraits.

What material are the portraits made of?

Accepted Answer

Gifted portraits are a mounted textured print. The majority of our clients upgrade to a museum quality canvas.

What kinds of products do you sell?

We specialize in museum-quality wall art for your home. Our portraits are available in sizes ranging from 10" to 72". We offer packages with digitals, and we also sell digital packages separately.
